Summer, Winter and Short Study Programs
As there are now many, many short courses and winter/summer programs offered by Australian universities, the AEC lists only select programs within the relevant university’s profile page, within the university section of this website.
The AEC provides a complete package of service to students which includes assistance with:
- admission to the short course, summer or winter program
- credit transfer to student’s home school
- on arrival meet service or transfer arrangements/advice
In addition, you will also receive on-arrival orientation at the university you have chosen for your program. Note however, that some short courses do not offer an orientation program but it is possible that there are other pre-departure or on-arrival formalities in place. The AEC will advise you of these.
Please be aware that the AEC will charge students a packaged fee for summer, winter and short study programs. Where programs are mentioned within the profile pages of universities on this site, fees may be listed. Where fees are not listed, students may contact the AEC. Or, you may visit the university’s web site (there is a link for each university from the university’s profile page.)
Where there is a short course or a summer/winter program listed on a university’s web site but not listed in the relevant university’s profile page on the AEC web site, feel free to contact the AEC if you wish the AEC to assist you.
AEC managed program fees for short courses and summer/winter programs will usually include the tuition for the program, housing, AEC administration and any other mandatory fees (e.g. health insurance). The airfare component will be an additional item based on student requirements as some students do like to include stopovers to other countries and/or cities in route to or from the program.
Note: The AEC does not offer every summer, winter and short program but instead lists only a limited number of programs. If in doubt please contact the AEC.
Refer to the university section of this web site and read the profile page of the relevant university. Again, please be aware, that the AEC lists only select programs. APPLY NOW
