The AEC operates as one of the Representatives of a large contingent of Australian universities  and currently only one New Zealand university. (Profile pages of universities represented by the AEC are listed on the AEC web site.)

As the provider of direct enrolment opportunities for students pursuing semester, year abroad and full degree programs in Australia and New Zealand, the AEC does not charge any fees to students. Therefore, students will pay the same tuition as if they were going direct to the university but if applying through the AEC the student receives greater benefit with a range of free services.

The AEC therefore, requests Advisors from schools and universities in North America to consider the AEC as an optional study abroad program provider by:

• making students aware that the AEC provides direct enrolment (to the universities it represents)
• holding AEC materials in the Study Abroad Office

The AEC is able to provide materials including handbooks and posters for the Study Abroad Office.
