“Australia was amazing. I felt that I was adequately prepared with the information that Australian Education Connection provided for me along with the materials that Macquarie University provided. AEC was a good value for the money and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who was considering going to school in Australia. Many of the other programs provide additional luxuries such as planned trips, etc. but I feel that if someone wants a trip, they can plan it themselves once they arrive over in Australia and save a significant amount of money. The university has trip planning services and once a student arrives there, they will quickly find that the universities offer them plenty of services free of charge that other programs charge for. . .”

“Hello anyone considering study abroad! My roommate and I decided to study abroad in Australia. We did tons of research and found that the Australian Education Connection (AEC) was the best program to suit our needs. It was the least expensive program and the people really helped us as much as they possibly could. We decided to go to separate universities so we could have different experiences, and Jonathan Cooper, our AEC program coordinator, helped us through the entire process. If you're independent minded and willing to put a bit of effort to maximize your study abroad experience, then AEC is the program for you. The dollars you save can go to your travelling, believe me, it's worth it!!!”

“I'm so very glad that I chose to come here through your program and I recommend it to anyone with the slightest interest in going abroad! You asked how it compared with other programs and I can not find any area in which it is inferior. One main difference that I do notice, however, is that there are a few more factors left up to the student to deal with, such as finding accommodation, organizing weekend trips, and finding airfare to and from Australia. (AEC ALSO PROVIDES THIS BUT GIVES STUDENTS THE OPTION IF THEY WANT TO DO IT THEMSELVES.) But, none of these are negative things! I know a lot of students studying here through XXXXXX University, who paid more than twice the price that we did, and their only "advantage" was that they had their accommodation pre-arranged and had the option of a gorup flight and farm-stay orientation with other XXXXXX students. Also, they have a XXXXXX representative living in Brisbane to organize weekend trips. (AEC HAS NOW INCLUDED FAR MORE ELECRONICALLY BASED RESOURCES SO STUDENTS CAN RECEIVE ELECTRONIC MESSAGES REGULARLY ABOUT TOUR PROGRAMS. AEC ALSO DOES HAVE A REPRESENTATIVE WHO IS CONTACTABLE FOR SUCH ADVICE). It is very important to note, however, that the airfare I found on my own was more than $200 US cheaper than their group flight and our apartment is much more spacious and desirable than any XXXXXX living I have seen. So, these factors left in our control (ONLY IF STUDENT REQUESTS THIS LEVEL OF FLEXIBILITY) have all worked out to our advantage, with slightly more work to be done upon our arrival. (ONLY IF STUDENTS WANT THIS WORK, OTHERWISE, AEC CAN PREARRANGE HOUSING SUBJECT TO TIME LIMITATIONS). Also, we have saved hundreds of dollars here by organizing trips independent of the XXXXXX trips and seen the same sites and done the same activities. So, I can't praise the AEC enough!”

Thank you so much for making this experience possibly for Jocy and I. I met a lot of other American students who went through XXXXXX or XXXXXX and they must have spent about $10,000 for registration, dorm and food. I mhave to admit, I was glad that I saved so much money through your program. I believe I saved about $4000 going through AEC, and the program is great for more independent people... Overall, the experience was memorable and I would definitely recommend your program to other sutdents. I already told my Abroad Counselor about AEC and your benefits.”
