About the Australian Education Connection

The AEC provides a comprehensive service to students (and their advisers and parents) from the point of application right through to departure and even after arrival in Australia or New Zealand! We are a small organization and not a large conglomerate, yet we offer every service offered to students going abroad as the large conglomerates and much more. You have the added bonus of being offered a truly personalized service.

AEC has Australian educated and experienced staff. Joyce Noronha who manages operations of the AEC began her career working with international students in Australia in 1979. Senior staff have at least 20 years of experience working in universities, international education organizations, government or teaching.

Our experience in programming is to your advantage. We know our region well so we don't attempt to provide you options for studying in other regions of the world; so we remain focused on bringing you the best that Australia and New Zealand has to offer. We are competent to deal with any matters that come up in relation to your semester/year abroad or full degree study experience.

Our overall mission is to manage the AEC study abroad business with integrity and to provide students with quality study abroad opportunities at Australian/New Zealand universities at affordable prices.

By placing an emphasis on affordability, the AEC believes it addresses the issue of equity and access so that students from all socio economic backgrounds can actually afford to study abroad. Our policies also ensure that outlays from government and institutional financial aid are kept to a minimum so that even more students can afford to study abroad.

Students from over 350 US universities have participated in the AEC Study Abroad Program. AEC supports the work of NAFSA: Association of International Educators through membership and upholds the values of the organization by following their professional standards and ethics.
